I love these products. I don’t know if they are relaxing for my cats, but I certainly enjoy them. Fragrances are not overly invasive, very mild and quiet. I do have the feeling it is doing something though because when I walk out and back in I don’t get hit in the face with cat smell, rather a small hint. So that is a plus in my opinion.

This candle is simply wonderful. The smell is not overpowering but rather delicate and soothing like clean laundry with a delicate touch of floral. I bought it mostly for my cat that has the tendency to wake up at 4am and knock things over. I thought maybe this candle will calm him down and help him sleep though the night. I lit it for a few hours before bedtime and Lo and behold, he slept through the night for the first time in years!!
I must also say that not only did my cat enjoy it but I enjoyed the long lasting clean smell the candle left after being turned off.

Great Subtle Smelling Candle that is Effective
I was looking for a soy candle and thought I’d give this one a try. I actually really like this candle and will be ordering more! The overall scent is a very clean/fresh scent that isn’t overpowering (like most Yankee Candles) which I am actually okay with. We have a dog as well as rubber mats in our basement so we get a “unique” smell that permeates thru the house. I’m always looking for something to help make the house smell fresh – especially when we have company. These actually do the trick! In fact, I put these on my Christmas list. Like I mentioned before, the scent isn’t overpowering so if you’re looking for a candle that you can smell overwhelmingly when you first walk in, then this isn’t your candle. But, if you’re looking for a candle that provides a subtle fragrance subtle that is clean & crisp, then give this a try.
Why I know these candles work is also based on my husband’s actions/comments (who absolutely hates candles and would always roll his eyes when I’d bring home a Yankee candle):
* He came home from work one day and asked if I ran the ozone machine (which we run when we and the dog aren’t home). To his disbelief, I did not – only burned two of these candles for a few hours
* I came home from work one evening and found HIM burning the candles (which has never ever happened before)
* Today, in fact, he asked if I was going to be ordering more of these candles from Amazon because we’ve already used up the two we purchased

Nice heavy candle holder with a little foot platform – this is great because when the candle burns down, sometimes it can get hot enough for the holder to burn the table surface. This candle smells incredible! This is the second product I’ve bought from this seller and I am again very impressed. We have 2 active dogs and a very elderly cat and unfortunately smells abound throughout the house. I’ve tried a handful of other “pet deodorizing” candles and always wound up throwing them away because of the overwhelmingly strong unnatural smell (I’m very sensitive to chemical scents and will get headaches.) But this candle is completely different. It has an all natural and lovely scent and is strong enough to mask animal smells but not at all overwhelming. I am disappointed. I could have spent an equal amount of money at the Dollar Store and purchased more or larger candles with some scent. One of my favorite scents is lavender and I could not tell what scent this candle was intended to be. I really thought since it claimed to be Aromatherapy Pet Care it would have the best scent as I think most of us agree dog and cat odors can be smelly. It was in a cute little jar with an attractive label and catchy name thus I made the purchase. It even said Veterinarian Recommended which is not what made the sale I am just sharing that info. It did not burn evenly. Believe me I am the queen of all things candles. I do know to trim the wick and to not let the candle burn for hours on end. I must admit I did know it was soy based before making my purchase and my experience with soy is that it is supposed to burn more cleanly, not this one. I guess I should have known better. I should not have purchased it without sniffing it. That is impossible when you are buying online of course. I love Amazon and have had mostly good experiences with them. Of course this candle isn’t their fault. I took a last look at the label thinking I misunderstood what I was buying. Nope, it does say “Aromatherapy Deodorizing Soy”.

Nice candle, really like the scent. Can’t verify how it makes my dogs react yet since I’ve only used it once. However my cat usually cries throughout the night since we recently moved, and he didn’t make a sound last night. The only reason I rated a 4 onstead of 5 is that the candle is much smaller than I thought, but to be fair I didn’t fully read the dimensions prior to purchase. It also has quite a bit of burn time according to reviews, and the hefty wick seems to support that so size may not be an issue.

LOVE! This candle is highly aromatic without the headache that most scented candles incite. It’s classy looking and easily fits into my decor. I usually burn it for 2-3 hours. I didn’t purchase it due to pet odor but because of the “de-stress” aspect. It’s light and lovely, and fills my living room with a pleasant, relaxing scent. I purchased this candle for a colleague of mine as a gift. I have 2 kittens with litter box and good plus a ball python living souly in my room so you can imagine that the pet smell does build. I bought 3 candles to help with a home that we were working on to ready for an open house. Needles to say, it was a stinky situation and we had tried several ideas prior to using the candles. The candles were all lit and placed around the home for three hours one afternoon while we were there. The next day when we returned there was at least a 90% improvement. I would totally purchase again and would add that even for everyday use I would recommend as the aromatherapy candle was not overpowering just a nice lavender smell.

I don’t see any extra ingredients that the other brands don’t have. The aroma is very relaxing. Shop around. I found a much better deal on a different brand. I love products that are made with real essential oils and not perfumes/artificial fragrances. This is a good quality candle and the house smells wonderful when it’s lit. I was really embarrassed to buy this. I’m not the person who goes out of her way to buy aromatherapy for herself, let alone her cats. But with my one cat extra stressed after recent home improvements we decided to give it a try. This candle is amazing. We bought the lavender, which smells great. What really impressed us was that our cats actually seemed less stressed. The one who is dealing with post-housework anxiety was noticeably calmer, even lacking the food seeking he usually exhibits. The others were also keyed down and calm. This was the first night of use and each time we light it the cats seem to take a collective breath. It’s amazing, truly. I Should also note – many a scented candle has been bought and quickly removed from the house because due to my own sensitivities it started to cause a headache. This candle does not do this.

Now my go to brand of candle!!
I am always hesitant to buy candles online because I am picky about scents, but this one is just strong enough to fill the air, yet not so heavy it’s overwhelming. I live on a farm with dogs, horses, cats, etc so a candle that actually helps get rid of all the smells that waft into my house is amazing!!

Good quality, light fragrance
This is a lovely product. It was well packaged, is attractive, and clearly a quality candle. My only hesitation is that the fragrance is very light. This makes it discernible for my dogs, but not very much for me!

The candles really work to get rid of the bad scent my dirty dog leaves in the house. I live with my 91 year old Father as his care giver, he hates the scent of my dog, so I just light these candles each day when I get home from work and he has not complained since. Great product, thanks.

Received this candle as a gift and I love the scent. It is a very light and not overpowering scent. It really does work to de-stress and calms my cat when he is nervous.
