Our moisturizing dog sunscreen formula contains UVA and UVB inhibitors, which absorb UV rays before they can be detrimental to skin and hair/fur.

In India, neem oil is a natural choice for preparing cosmetics (soap, hair products, body hygiene creams, hand creams). We use neem oil in our dog-safe sunscreen because ancient Ayurvedic writings say the oil helps with skin diseases, inflammations, and fevers. More recently, neem oil has been said to aid rheumatic disorders, insect repellent, and insecticide effects. Warning: You’ll start planning a trip to India to purchase all your cosmetics.
We use coconut oil in our sunscreen for its multitude of health benefits, which include but are not limited to skincare and hair care. The oil can also improve digestion and immunity against a host of infections and diseases. Warning: Using this spray on your dog will make you dream of beach vacations and sipping piña coladas.
Directions: Shake well and spray onto the dog’s exposed skin areas. Apply to their face by spraying some dog-safe sunscreen onto your hands and massage into your dog’s face, avoiding contact with eyes. Reapply if your dog gets wet or every two to three hours while in direct sunlight.

There aren’t a ton of dog sunscreens that look decent for the price, so I decided to give this one a try. Seems to work very well on my harlequin Great Dane, especially on the areas where he is shaved down from surgery, and it doesn’t leave him feeling like he has residue from it for too long. My one complaint is the smell- you do not smell the coconut, I expected it to smell a lot better.

Sensitive pink skinned white dog that burns quick and easily.
Its not sticky or oily at all, I can apply a hefty amount to my dogs fur, and once it dries I feel no residue when i pet him.
I was worried about skin irritation, because I have a solid white great dane who is sensitive to everything. He didn’t get red or break out at all, even after numerous applications throughout the day.
Because he has pink skin, he usually starts to get red with sunburn within minutes of being outside, and we were outside for a few hours without him looking the slightest bit red.
Smell is slightly odd, but not bad, and very faint as well. The odor is not strong at all and I had to hold the bottle right up to my nose to smell it.
Bottle is much bigger than i expected, so I’m sure it will last a while. I’m very happy with this product.

When I received the product, my spray pump was missing as mentioned in other reviews. I immediately contacted the seller and received a reply within the same day. They were very courteous and resolved the problem by sending me another bottle with a pump. When I received it, the spray pump was attached underneath a rubber band, which I can see why Amazon keeps losing. Perhaps a suggestion is to package everything in a plastic bag.
As for the product itself, it seems to work well so far. It doesn’t feel sticky or oily, and it absorbs easily. It doesn’t leave any feeling of residue.

Fabulous!!!
We had our 20 year old Airdale X shaved for the summer months, and I noticed she was getting a bit of a sunburn when she went outside to play. I purchased the sunscreen and could not be happier!!! It is fabulous. I used it on one of our other dogs, and it is the first product I have used where she didn’t run to the lawn to rub it off.
I also purchased the stain and odor remover, and the scent is quite pleasant, and the product works very well. I shall be purchasing the sunscreen and the stain and odor remover from now on!!

Not sure if this product works. Purchased to spray on scar left after my dog had surgery. I like the fact that the ingredients are natural but what exactly is the SPF? How much sun protection does it provide? My main disappointment is that the bottle LEAKS so it’s very difficult to bring with me when I’m out and about. I traveled with it in a ziploc bag and it leaked again with about 1/2″ of liquid in the bottom of the plastic bag. Not happy with the purchase.

Love this oil! We received allergy test results back,for our pitbull, that he was allergic to the sun. I immediately began researching the safest sunscreen for him and here is where I ended. Kingston doesn’t mind being sprayed with it and it isn’t sticky at all. I would definitely recommend this product.

This product is AMAZING! I adopted a rescue sweetie I named Leo in October. I’ve never thought about sunscreen but he has a pink nose and belly with thin fur. I needed a natural product and I came across this one. While you do not see the chemical sunblocks in this, as it’s all natural, it works incredibly! Leo spends the morning laying out, I apply it before he goes using my hands. No more bright pink when he comes in. Also, when it arrived I was missing the sprayer. My dog has very sensitive, sunburn and irritation prone skin so I thought this would help. I’ve used natural sunscreen on him before that worked. This product smelled pleasant and natural, and you get a nice size bottle for the price. Unfortunately it made him break out in a rash after a few days of use. I stopped using it and the rash has since cleared. Be careful if your dog has extremely sensitive skin.

Horrible!!! I sprayed my dog and it left a disgusting film on him and it just did not smell good. Later that night I used baby wipes to get it off him because I noticed the fur looked like it had a residue on it. He also semelled of cat litter! Disgusting! Would not reccommed to anyone!

This really works
A good product. I spray it on my fingers and apply it on my dog’s nose. I distract her with a small treat before and after the application and she doesn’t seem to mind it too much. She no longer comes back from her daily run in the AZ desert with a pink nose. Also, she no longer has a peeling nose. There is a very slight and pleasant odor to this product. I recommend it.

We bought this for our white dog who gets sunburnt very easily after using the “epi-pet” brand because this got really good reviews and is all natural and cheaper! However, I do not recommend this product at all. I’ve tried it 3 or 4 different times, applying it more frequently and in greater amounts and it does not work! His ears and nose are still getting burnt. The Epi-Pet brand that we had previously used works a ton better and he normally doesn’t get burnt when using that brand. This may seem like a good all natural solution but if you frequent the beach with your dog who’s always in the sun and water this doesn’t work!

I have a pet mini pig who loves the warmth and will lay out in the sun for hours at a time without realizing she’s basically roasting herself. As a result, she’s had some pretty bad sunburns leading her skin to crack and peel. Our household prefers natural products and I’m glad I discovered this. It’s helped her existing sunburn while also protecting her from future sunburns. I do wish the formula was more of a cream/lotion than a spray for application purposes, but this still seems to do the job. I’d recommend to pet owners who want happy, healthy skin for their little friends.

This product broke my dog out horribly. She has welts all over her body from allergic reaction. She’s scratched the skin raw around her neck and back. She’s been on Benadryl For a week and it’s still not cleared. She still burned on top of it all and her face is pealing.
